Treehouses of serenity

Dotting the side of a mountain in Asheville, NC, you will find Treehouses of Serenity, a UNIQUE travel destination that you don't want to miss!!!  Established in 2016, our first treehouse "Sanctuary" was built and featured on The Treehouse Guys on the DIY Network.  Take in the rustic, fairytale vibe of this custom-made true treehouse supported by two towering white oaks.  Recline in a rocking chair and watch the sunset over the mountains, or try your hand at some stargazing from the comfort of the bed.

Our other "treehouses" are all built on piers with elevations that allow our guests to take in the awesome sunset views in the evening and the mountain views all day long.   In addition, each treehouse has its own firepit and unique features.  The Perch is wheelchair friendly with a hanging bed on the porch and a double-sided fireplace; The Farmhouse has a country appeal as well as an outside double slipper tub open all seasons except winter, The Aerie is a tri-level home with a huge round six-foot diameter window for a killer view and Wizard's Hollow is a magical castle complete with a hidden bookcase door!  For those who would rather be underground, we have something to please everyone at Dragon's Knoll.  We have just opened our newest house, Alchemy, which any fan of magic will love!!!!  Don't forget, there is magic all around!!  All of our homes are built on an 16-acre parcel in a wooded area 10 minutes north of downtown Asheville.  You'll find heaps of wildlife at your doorstep. 

The treehouses are available for nightly rentals or you can plan to stay awhile! They are fully furnished with all of the comforts of home!  (Yes, including running water and a conventional toilet and shower! )
