Q: Can I visit the treehouse community without being a guest?

A:  In order to protect the serene environment and the privacy of our guests, all persons must be registered guests.

 

Q:  Are children allowed?

A:  ABSOLUTELY!  Although we are all kids at heart, we welcome children of all ages.  We just ask that our quiet hours, after 9:00 p.m., are observed.

 

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: We do love our animals, but we do not allow pets.  

 

Q: Are any of the homes wheelchair accessible?

A: "The Perch" is wheelchair friendly with wide doorways and a ramp for entry.

Q: How far in advance can we book?

A: Our calendars are open 6 months in advance.  A new booking calendar opens at 8 a.m. eastern on the 1st day of each month.

Q: Do you have a waitlist?

A: We do not have a waitlist at this time, but when we do have a cancellation, we post those to our social media pages, so give us a follow!

Q: Can I get married on the property?

A: Yes, we do offer elopement packages.  Please contact us for more details.

Q: Is there a minimum night stay?

A: There is a 2 night minimum on weekends and various minimum night stays for holidays.  However, during the week you can stay only one night.

 

Q: Is there dining on the property?

A: The treehouse has a kitchenette with a microwave, 2 burner cooktop, and refrigerator.  There are many restaurants within a few miles and some deliver to the property.  However, there is not a restaurant on the property.

 

Q: Are the homes open year-round?

A: Yes we are!!

Q: Do any of the homes have hot tubs?

A: Our homes do not have hot tubs, however, The Farmhouse has a bathtub on the deck that is open in the spring, summer, and fall.

 

Q: Are the homes heated?

A: Yes, each of the homes has mini-split units that provide both heating and air conditioning. The Perch and Dragon's Knoll also have gas fireplaces.

 

Q: Does the treehouse have a bathroom?

A: Yes, each treehouse is fully plumbed with a 3 piece bathroom (toilet, sink and shower with hot water!).

 

Q: Does the Sanctuary sway in the wind?

A: Yes, the treehouse does sway when the wind is blowing hard!  BUT...  Don't worry, it was built and engineered to sway.

 

Q: Can I rent any of the homes for an afternoon?

A: Afternoon rentals are not available; the minimum stay is 1 night.

 

Q: Can I bring extra people?

A: We ask that you do not bring extra people unless you have spoken with us prior to your booking.

 

Q: Can a party be hosted on the property?

A: Our property is intended for families and small groups.  Many people visit our property to unwind; therefore, parties and loud music are not allowed.

 

Q: What is the cancelation policy?

A: Strict: Full refund if cancellation is within 48 hours of booking.  We understand that life happens. As a small business, we hope that you understand our need to maintain a consistent cancellation policy. We recommend purchasing trip insurance that covers expenses from last-minute cancellations of lodging and transportation due to theft, medical, etc. Travel Guard is an affordable option to ensure you’re covered in the event of the unexpected.  Also, we do have wildlife on the property, in the extremely rare occasion that damage occurs to your personal vehicle, we are not responsible.

 

Q: Is smoking allowed?

A: There is no smoking of any kind all allowed in any of the homes.  Any violations will be subject to a $300 fee and asked to leave the property.

 

Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?

A: Check-in is 3 pm and check-out is 10 am.

 

Q: Can I check-in before 3 pm?

A: Due to this being a high volume rental and the care that we take in between each guest, we ask that you do not show up on the property before 3 pm.  

 

Q: Does the treehouse have wifi?

A: Yes

 

Q: How close are the treehouses to each other?

A: All of our homes are within walking distance of each other which allows for groups to interact, but turned to allow for privacy for our guests.
